Rock the open bar at the “Kick Start” Party

You dropped $100 to attend Thundery by the Bay’s opening night soiree at the swanky ballroom of The Francis at Louies Modern. Get your Benjamin’s worth and consume as much of that high-end hooch as possible without falling into a puddle of your own vomit. Just be sure to arrange in advance for transportation other than your beloved bike.

    Attend the Harley-Davidson Fashion Show

There are many fine reasons to attend the “Born to Be Wild” bash at the Hyatt but don’t get too distracted by the casino-style gaming and miss the Harley-Davidson Fashion Show. Biker babes clad in nothing but bikini tops and black leather chaps riding a chopper down the catwalk? Who knows? But it’s totally worth finding out.

    Buy some biker gear

The Downtown Festival will be filled with a dazzling congregation of bikes, yes, but also vendors peddling such essential biker accessories as jackets, vests, boots, helmets, leather pants and chaps, saddlebags, gloves, goggles, and maybe something really special like the deranged baby doll we spotted on the back of a bike last year.

Ask a biker for a ride

This is a bold question filled with sexual innuendo and the chance of getting slapped or taken somewhere you really don’t want to go. But, hey, Thunder by the Bay only comes once a year. Go ahead, find the sexiest biker/bike combo and ask away. At the very least, you’ll have a great story to tell at the bar.
