My top choices are 1564 Main Street and Fruitville Texaco. 1564 Main Street is amazing especially after a late night out on the town. I still haven't found a sandwich that i don't like and also (as the writer pointed out) the loaded baked tato soup is simply.....AMAZING!!!!! As for Fruitville Texaco, I've been eating there since my dad opened his Mill Shop in the Sarasota Trade Center area off fruitville (about 4 years now). Not only is their fried chicken good but everything i've eaten there for breakfast and lunch has been delicious.

Your site is FUBAR. Can't browse past 2nd choice. Not for Cheap eats not for Best of 2012. Same glitch on both. Doesn't anybody check the links? Ugly coding. Could be Windows preference -ugh.

Absolutely LOVE the Star Keeper Cafe. The food is always fresh and wonderful and the staff (especially Cindy the owner) are a delight. The meatloaf is a must!

I must whole-heartily second Mr. Goggans evaluation of Curry Creek. He hit the proverbial nail with a 10 lb. sledge as always. You couldn't find a more friendly place to eat and the food really is that good. Curry creek is the quintessential eatery you've driven by to many times without stopping for a bite.
