After months of preparation, JDub's Brewing Co. began construction on its production brewery today at 1215 Mango Ave. in Sarasota. And a crew from HGTV was there, filming a yet-to-be-named show about JDub's founder Jeremy Joerger, who left a comfortable job in Washington, D.C., to create a craft brewery in Florida.

Joerger watches a team from Howell Construction complete demolition of the wall. "This is one of the most monumental days of my life," Joerger said. He said JDub's has been his dream for more than a decade. "Ten months of sleepless nights, ulcers, you name it" has led up to today, he said.
