Gathering my supplies before the Bradenton Beer Festival on Feb. 18. The thing in the upper right is the invaluable Brew Caddy. I ended up not using the Sony camera. Instead, I took all my pictures with my iPhone and sent them out via Twitter. It was my first time doing that and it was awesome.

The line to buy tickets at the fest. The prepaid line was to the left and much shorter. Glad I got my ticket in advance.

No one knew which beer was in this cask-conditioned firkin. Do you? It was a sour ale. My guess is something from Cigar City Brewing.
UPDATE: Jon-Paul Taylor with the Bradenton Beer Festival says it was a treatment of Florida Beer's Swamp Ape IPA.

Haha. This was a cask left over from the Cask Beer Festival in July. It was from Florida Beer Co. It was a treated Swamp Ape Beer. Half the people liked it, the other hated it.

Was it supposed to be a sour? Or was it a Swamp Ape gone even badder?

Tom, excellent question; I hope it was sour on purpose!

I never would have guessed it was Swamp Ape. Thanks for answering that!
