The Bearded Clam itself sits on the Intercoastal Waterway and organizes itself in a series of patios around the Tiki Bar, which is the restaurant’s most prominent architectural feature as well as the social center. There’s also a pool and a sundeck for those who like to multi-task their leisure activities. The evening I was there a lively crowd clustered around the bar clearly enjoying themselves.
