El Toro Bravo is more than great food. It is family owned, and everyone makes you feel as if you are part of the insider crowd...like the neighborhood restaurant you grew up near.

It is a small, cozy family dining restaurant with cheerful colors, and an inviting atmosphere. Seldom noisy, excellent service and very clean.

NOW to the food!
The very best chips and salsa (always fresh and hand made) in town!
New takes on old favorites, light and flavorful, not heavy and oily. Many family recipes from the owner's South West childhood, and far fresher and more healthy than the chain style restaurants. I have been a regular since it opened, and I won't eat Mexican anywhere else. I am a 30 year resident of Sarasota, and have seen a lot of restaurants come and go, but this is one you don't want to miss, and Ruben will make you a believer!
