Freestyle Music: Noun. A form of Latin-influenced dance-pop or electronic dance music that emerged in the United States in the mid-1980s.
There's going to be a Super Freestyle Explosion at the Tampa Bay Times Forum on Saturday, Sept. 13, with a load of freestyle legends led by Stevie B., Lisa Lisa, Shannon and Nu Shooz. Also on the bill: Expose, Debbie Deb, Trinere, Connie, Pretty Poison and Nocera.
You'll recognize some of their hits: "I Can't Wait," "Let the Music Play," "Point of No Return," "Head to Toe," "Lost in Emotion," "Because I Love You," "Catch Me I'm Falling."
