Music On Main — Lakewood Ranch Main Street’s monthly Music on Main event falls on Independence Day, with Smokey’s Session (featuring Smokey Santillo) performing. Cary Grant in "North By Northwest."

"North By Northwest" — 3 p.m. Sunday (July 6). Celebrate the 55th anniversary of Alfred Hitchcock's classic spy thriller on the big screen as part of Tampa Theatre's Summer Classic Movie Series. USF film professor Harriet Deer will lead a discussion of the film after the screening. Released on July 28, 1959, the two-hour film stars Cary Grant as a Manhattan advertising executive who finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and is mistaken for a spy.
