Here's another great reason to attend the Village of the Arts' monthly Artwalk on Friday or Saturday: a new business in the downtown Bradenton arts district. Make sure to stop by and visit Sugar Cubed (1506 13th St. W. Bradenton; 251-4092) and say hello to the talented and affable owner, Mr. Dana Johnson. Sugar Cubed, which is holding its grand opening 6 p.m. Friday, is a new pastry cafe specializing in creative breads, desserts and other baked goods.

"We pride ourselves on quality, taste, and appearance," Johnson says. "Make us a destination for your downtown breakfast and coffee!"
