Celebrating National Tartan Day

The First Brass of Sarasota and Piping Hot-Jacobites are teaming up with Irish Dance Academy of Sarasota and Riverview High School Scottish dancers to perform a concert titled "Celebrating National Tartan Day."The concert will feature Sara Peeples-McNatt singing Scottish tunes such as "My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose," "The Water is Wide" and she will lead the audience in the singing of the favorite "Loch Lomond." There will also be energetic brass pieces and performances by the pipers. The Irish dancers will perform the traditional hard-shoe dances and the RHS Scottish dancers will present the Scottish Sword Dance.
