Sunday marks the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' landmark performance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” To commemorate, 15 local acts will share the 5 O'Clock Club stage to perform Beatles songs and raise money for The Generoso Foundation, which helps musicians and service workers in need. Dubbed “The Night Of A Thousand Beatles,” each act has chosen five Beatles songs and one song from a Beatles' side project. The lineup is: Kettle of Fish, Ship of Fools, Come Back Alice (see video below), Beat The Meetles, Kara Nally Band, Ben Hammond, Joey Lavallee with Steve Weinreb, The Emma Tree, Steve Sipes and the Guilty Pleasures, Al Donadi, James Hawkins and The Art Students Of Doom, Peter Grace, Lei Stanhope, The Apple Scruffs and The All Star Jam.

5 p.m. Sunday, February; 5 O'Clock Club, 1930 Hillview St., Sarasota; $5 suggested donation; 366-5555; 5oclockclub.net.
