45th annual Devereaux-Kaiser Antique Car Show — 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 26). Lakewood Ranch will host this event on Rangeland Parkway. Hosted by the Sunshine Region AACA and Lakewood Ranch. Free. More than 1,000 vehicles, vintage 1989 and older, from all over Florida and neighboring states will be on display. There is no entry fee for cars and no judging. There will also be a “Collector Car Corral” for individuals wishing to sell their vintage cars. Venice Veterans Gala — 2-6 p.m. Sunday (Jan. 26). Venice Community Center, 326 Nokomis Ave. S. A salute to U.S. military veterans, featuring swing dance, silent auction, military vehicles and displays, vintage autos, etc. Tickets: $12 in advance, $15 at the door.
