The Sarasota Film Festival's Moonlight Movies series —all screenings are free and open to the public — returns with an exciting, eclectic mix of classics and contemporary features as well as shorts starting with Friday's screening of "The Holding Cell," a 35-minute movie shot in Sarasota and Palmetto. It's billed as "a gripping portrait of what teenage life can become when we choose to escape rather than face uncomfortable change." The story follows Skylar (Christina Norcia) as she enters the world of prescription drug abuse and addiction. A moderated panel discussion will follow the screening. Directed by KT Curran and produced by Source Productions and Brandi's Wish Foundation the cast is Norcia, Jack Polubinski, Frankie La Pace, Tsadok Porter, and Eric Gruendl
