Art Center Sarasota's ongoing exhibition series "Incredible Journey" continues this weekend with four new shows running through Feb. 28.
In one gallery is "Nature's Voice: Quilts by Regina Benson" featuring sculptural quilt forms by the fiber artist who is distinguished for her wall hangings, art quilts and dimensional textile sculptures.
"Tradition Gone Wild," in another area of the center, is a juried exhibition of modern woven art created by members of the Venetian Society of Basket Weaver.
"ASALH-Black Muse 2014" is a selected display presenting artworks by member artists of the Manatee Association for the Study of African-American Life and History. This exhibition covers a wide array of media, including painting, drawing and sculpture.
"Breaking Tradition" is an open, all-media juried display.
The opening reception for all four exhibits is 5-7 p.m. Jan. 16.
