Forty Carrots Family Center's Firefly Gala knows how to reel in the hitmakers. Pat Benatar, Blondie and KC & The Sunshine Band have headlined the annual fundraiser in the past three years.

This year's edition, presented by the Dart Foundation, is no different: Ladies and gentlemen, The Go-Go's.

Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey and Gina Schock will rock the house, namely The Ritz-Carlton Members Golf Club in Bradenton, on March 29. The event starts at 6 p.m., with The Go-Go's hitting the stage at 9:45.

Sponsorships, including tables and tickets for two, are available at 365-7716. Visit fireflygala.org for more information. The evening includes a gourmet dinner, a silent auction and the concert.

Formed in 1978, the band made a huge splash with its 1981 debut album, "Beauty and the Beat," topping the Billboard 200 chart for six weeks, yielding the hits "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "We Got the Beat" and selling more than 3 million copies.

Their follow-up album, "Vacation," included another Top 10 hit with the title track in 1982. Their 1984 album "Talk Show," included a pair of Top 40 hits ("Head Over Heels" and "Turn to You"), but they disbanded a year later.

They have toured regularly since 1999.
