The 20th annual Tampa Bay Blues Festival will feature the return of Buddy Guy. One of the greatest and most influential guitarists on the planet, he is also a soulful singer remaining in fine voice at age 77. In fact, Guy, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, is still very much in his prime, or at least very close to it.

Bradenton Blues Festival headliner Shemekia Copeland is also performing at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival next year.  Other standout artists on the lineup include Michael McDonald, Irma Thomas, Coco Montoya, The Blind Boys of Alabama and James Hunter. See the complete schedule below.

The Tampa Bay Blues Festival is  April 11-13 at Vinoy Park on the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg. Tickets, which are on sale now, cost $35 each for Friday and Sunday and $45 for Saturday. Pass for all three days is $100.  VIP passes are $150 each for Friday and Sunday, $175 for Saturday and $375 for a three-day.
