"Finished some big fish crate fish for Saturday's big show on Anna Maria Island," acclaimed Florida folk artist Rhonda Kay posted Wednesday along with this picture on her Facebook page.

Rhonda Kay, whose fabulously funky folk art  adds to the Old Florida charm of the famed Star Fish Co. in Cortez and numerous other high-profile businesses along the Gulf Coast, will be among the artists present at BayFest.

"Rhonda works with found wood to create funny tiki bar signs, drinking saying art, inspirational work and liberated mermaids," writes Marty Fugate in the introduction to his recent interview with Rhonda.

Steve Arvey (Friday); Scott's Garage and Shotgun Justice (Saturday), plus many more great local acts are performing. Here's the complete music lineup.
