The Players Theatre has a lot of history to celebrate when it holds its gala dinner “A Night to Remember” on Nov. 1.
The Players is the area’s oldest performing arts organization now in its 84th season.
This year’s event, at Michael’s On East, will recognize the contributions of a group of artists who have been actively involved since 1990.
The event, which includes entertainment, cocktails and dinners, will recognize the contributions of Tim Minar, Bob Trisolini, Steven Vincent, Ellie Pattison, Kathryn Parks, Bill Sarazen, Garry Breul, Steve Dawson, Diane Dawson, Karen Koblenz, and Julie Milton. All of them have worked with the community theater on stage or backstage.
Eve Caballero, another long-time veteran who is being recognized, is the honorary chair of the event. Among those performing at the event are Catherine Randazzo, Sarah Cassidy, Jennifer Baker, Joseph Strickland, Joyce Valentine, Noah Kunkel, Kaity Cairo, and Lily Mancini.
Tickets are $150. 365-2494; theplayers.org.
