One of the greatest films of all time, Roman Polanski’s 1974 noir classic “Chinatown” is set in 1930s Los Angeles with Jack Nicholson playing a private detective who uncovers a scandal involving murder, incest and corruption regarding the local water supply. A sizzling Faye Dunaway adds to the excitement.

The movie will be screened in the all-digital domed theater in the Bishop Planetarium as part of the South Florida Museum’s Film Friday series.
Each week there's beer, wine, soft drinks and snacks available for purchase.

6 p.m. Friday; South Florida Museum, 201 10th St. W., Bradenton; $5, $3 (member admission); 746-4131; southfloridamuseum.org.
