Country star Blake Shelton, who played to a sold-out crowd of about 12,000 people earlier this year at the Florida Strawberry Festival in Plant City, will brings his drinking ditties, love songs and other assorted hits to the MidFlorida Amphitheatre in Tampa on Friday.
The TV show star of "The Voice" and husband of super-talented Miranda Lambert (she'll be at the MidFlorida Amphitheatre Sept. 20), Shelton topped Billboard's Country Album chart again, and reached No. 3 on the publication's overall pop survey, in March with the release of "Based on a True Story...." The album includes the smash hit "Boys 'Round Here" featuring Lambert's plucky side project the Pistol Annies.
Easton Corbin and Jana Kramer open Shelton's show in Tampa.
