Join the Bradenton Marauders as they take on the Fort Myers Miracle for the final Thirsty Thursday of the 2013 season and a night dubbed “Salute to Boy Bands” featuring an appearance by 'N Sync singer Chris Kirkpatrick, who made a star appearance performing with his old band mates Sunday on MTV. The Marauders are the High-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Kirkpatrick is a life-long Pittsburgh sports fan born in Clarion, Pa.

The pop music star will sign autographs and pose for pictures on the outfield boardwalk near the Kona Bar from 6:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. After the autograph session, Kirkpatrick will stay to meet and mingle with fans and throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Following the game, the Kona Bar built will stay open for “boy band karaoke.” Thirsty Thursday, presented by Budweiser, means sodas and select draft beers cost a mere $1. Thirsty Thursday specials will continue during the postgame karaoke.

'N Sync's 2000 album “No Strings Attached” sold more than two million copies in its first week and nearly 10 million in its release year. The record includes the hit songs "Bye, Bye, Bye," "This I Promise You" and "It's Gonna Be Me." The group, which formed in 1995, consisted of Kirkpatrick, Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and J.C. Chasez. The band reunited after a long hiatus for a performance Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards.
