Shamrock pairs Florida craft beer with local food

/

shamrockThis has been written about before, but today marks the return of the Summer Chef Jam at the Shamrock Pub from 8 to 10 p.m. A $15 ticket gets you small plates by the guest chef and unlimited Florida craft beer (which always catches my attention).

Tonight's theme is reggae with chef Jeff Sladky of Mattison's 41 serving jerk chicken, smoky beans and rice and plantains. It's paired with Cigar City Invasion Pale Ale (a new one from the Tampa brewery) or their Maduro Brown Ale.

The series continues through the summer, with Louies Modern on June 18 and Darwin's on 4th on June 25. They will announce further events and beers soon.
