Charlotte County Pride Fest 2013

704572_134894623330504_1196117175_oPerhaps inspired by the success of Sarasota's Harvey Milk celebrations, the fight for equal rights is spreading south.

The inaugural Charlotte County Pride Fest will be held Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds.

There will be live entertainment, prize raffles, a Kid Zone, food vendors, children's drinks, as well as adult beverages. There will be local gay/friendly businesses and organizations set up as well.

Grand Prize Raffle wins you four Disney Park Hopper tickets (a $500 value).

Second Raffle gets ya one night's stay at the Intercontinental Hotel in Tampa. Includes breakfast (a $230 value).

Entrance fee to the Festival is a non-perishable food/hygiene item donated to C.H.A.P.S. (Or a monetary donation to C.H.A.P.S.)

Parking is $5 per car.

Bring your lawn chairs and sunscreen. No personal coolers. No pets.
