Main Street Live! — 6-10 p.m. Thursday (May 16). The popular street party in downtown Bradenton will feature Kettle of Fish. Old Main Street between Manatee-3rd avenues will close to vehicular traffic at 2:30 p.m. Free.

Bradenton Marauders — The Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates returns home Friday for its longest homestand so far this season. The Marauders will face the St. Lucie Mets Friday through Sunday followed by the Tampa Yankees Monday through May 23. All games start at 6:30 p.m. except for the 1 p.m. Sunday game. The specials for each game: Friday (May 17), post-game fireworks; Saturday (May 18), Armed Forces Day, free camo hat, free admission with military ID; Sunday (May 19), $1 tickets, $1 hot dogs; Monday (May 20), team photo giveaway; Tuesday (May 21), team photo giveaway, Marty the Marauder birthday party; May 23, Hurricane Awareness Day. Free yoga on the Ringling Cà d’Zan terrace — 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday (May 18), held every third Saturday of the month from May through September, with certified local instructors leading participants of all yoga levels through a range of stretches and movements. This week, the host is Noelle Segal, founder of Family Tree Yoga. The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, 5401 Bay Shore Road, Sarasota. Parking is available at the Cà d’Zan parking lot. Fishermen's Village's Key Lime Festival — 10 a.m. Saturday (May 18). Live music by Gator DJ, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and Renn Loren & Tiki Town Castaways, 5-9 p.m. Face painting by Metamasque, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. The key lime theme will resonate with a "Who's Got Punta Gorda's Best Key Lime Pie" contest and the "Key Lime Pie Martini" and "Key Lime Pie Margarita" bartender challenge. Florida artisans will showcase key lime-themed wares in the Village promenade, and Village restaurants will offer key lime-themed chef specialties. Parrot Head Party — 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday (May 18). Lakewood Ranch Community Activities will host this island-themed party at the Amenity Center of Taylor Morrison’s newest Lakewood Ranch community, Esplanade Golf and Country Club (east of I-75 near the intersection of State Road 70 and Lakewood Ranch Boulevard). Sidewalk Astronomy — Sunset to 10 p.m. Saturday (May 18). The Local Group of Deep Sky Observers, a Bradenton/Sarasota group of astronomy enthusiasts, will set up their high-quality telescopes for public viewing in the parking lot adjacent to the Riverview High School Planetarium, One Ram Way, Sarasota. The highlights of the evening will be views of the rings of Saturn, as well as close-up views of the first-quarter moon. Free.
