The Nina, the Pinta ... and that's it

ninaReplicas of two of Christopher Columbus’s ships – the Niña and the Pinta – will sail into Punta Gorda’s Fishermen’s Village today and stay on display Friday through next Thursday. Years of research went into the contruction of the ships and they serve as unique roaming museums of the Age of Discovery. The public can board the ships for a walk-aboard, self-guided tour.
