Artists and art lovers gather for opening at Two Columns Gallery.

Two Columns Gallery is Ringling College of Art and Design’s latest exhibition space — an off-campus venue in downtown Sarasota. After a preliminary exhibition on March 15, it opened its doors for good on March 25. The new gallery features work by students from Ringling College's fine arts department.

The inaugural exhibition, “Following Ovid’s Metamorphoses: From Cosmogony to Chaos and Back to the Rhizome," showcases paintings, sculpture and installations by Katie Aucion, Mike Bailey, Megan Castellon, Cutter Hume, Mariana Jordan, Freddie Lamoreaux,  Jazz Leeb, Diana Lueken, Anna Paul,  Zach See, Chris Schumaker, Erin Schweers and Alvy Vereecke.

Two Columns Gallery is located at 1947 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota.

 

EXHIBITION:
Following Ovid’s Metamorphoses: From Cosmogony to Chaos and Back to the Rhizome runs through April 14 at Two Columns Gallery, 1947 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota.
