Against Me! drop Tampa show

The March 16 Against Me! performance at The Ritz Ybor would've have been the first one in the Tampa Bay area for the Florida punk rock band since lead singer Tom Gabel came out as transgender and began living as Laura Jane Grace.

Bad Religion and Polar Bear are still scheduled to play but Against Me! has canceled its entire upcoming tour.

"Canceling a tour is definitely not a decision we would make lightly," reads a statement on the band's website. "At this moment, due to our current uncertainty over who is going to be playing drums with us, we feel like we are lacking the ability to put on the show our fans deserve and we think that the best thing for us to do right now is take some time to regroup and finish a record."

Grace said last year, in an interview with Rolling Stone, that as a child he felt disconnected from his body and has a condition called gender dysphoria
