Junior League Beertopia fundraiser returns Jan. 19 to Lakewood Ranch

Beertopia 2013The Junior League of Manatee County will hold its fifth Beertopia fundraiser Jan. 19 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Gold Coast Eagle Distributing (7051 Wireless Court in Lakewood Ranch).

In addition to sampling the many beers in Gold Coast Eagle's portfolio, local restaurants will be serving samples from their menus. There will also be a live band, silent auctions and beer-related games.

Tickets, which are $50 in advance and $60 at the door, can be purchased online at the Junior League's website. It goes without saying, but you must be at least 21 to attend.

For the serious party animals, an extra $25 gets you a swag bag of goodies and transportation to and from the after-party from 10 to midnight at the Polo Grill and Bar.
