Looking for a fun way to work off those three or four (dozen) extra holiday cookies? The Active Suncoast Foundation is sponsoring the Frosty 5K Saturday morning. The race starts in Twin Lakes Park, winds through a nearby neighborhood then circles back for a loop around the park's lake.

Frosty 5K: 8 a.m. Sat., Dec. 15; Twin Lakes Park, 6700 Clark Road, Sarasota; $30 ahead of time, $35 day of; activesuncoast.org.

Wanting to register now and of course I'm too late. Any way to register still before Saturday? I've looked everywhere and its closed. Can blame a gal for trying. I can drive anywhere to pay now! 816-679-2202. Thanks!:)
