The Golden Apple Dinner Theatre may have closed, but Drag Queen Bingo carries on.

The dinner theater that has produced the Friday staple reported Tuesday that the show will go on Friday night (Sept. 14) at the Ramada Waterfront Sarasota, 7150 N. Tamiami Trail. Beneva Fruitville and Tamiami Trails will be featured in the show. For more information: 358-1000, ext. 2225

Lindsay Carlton, part of the regular Friday night show, will be featured herself at Pineapples Island Grill in Venice, 133 South Tamiami Trail. For more information: 445-5066.

Tickets for either show are $5.

On Monday, the Golden Apple was evicted from its home in downtown Sarasota because of delays in paying rent. The dinner theater had operated there for nearly 42 years.
